Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our Quality team. As a Quality Analytics Intern, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven initiatives to improve product and service quality across the organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals to analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to process improvement projects that align with our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to quality metrics, performance indicators, and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Report Generation: Support the creation of regular reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize quality data, trends, and actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and assess key quality control processes, such as product inspections, testing, and audits.
- Process Improvement: Assist in analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing data-driven solutions to enhance quality standards.
- Root Cause Analysis: Participate in investigations to identify the root causes of quality issues using statistical tools and analytical techniques.
- Data Visualization: Use data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to create visual representations of quality data, making it easier for stakeholders to interpret.
- Documentation: Help maintain detailed records of analysis, findings, and improvement initiatives in line with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support Team Projects: Work closely with the Quality Analytics team to support ongoing projects, contributing to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Intern Program Requirements:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate/PhD program OR within 1 year of graduation date
- Demonstrate high potential, including suitable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service
Education and/or Experience:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and be actively enrolled for the duration of your co-op. Area of Study should be from one of the following:
- Engineering
- Business Analytics
- Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Operations Research
- Quality Assurance
- Or related
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Power BI knowledge is a must
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with statistical software or programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) and quality improvement methodologies is an advantage.
