SQL/ Power BI Developer

We currently have an opening for a SQL/BI position in Canada. Below, you’ll find the detailed job description. This role offers full-time employment with the flexibility of remote work; however, candidates must be situated within Canadian borders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role
• 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and visualization tool like Looker/PowerBI
• A proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on analytics.
• A strong quantitative orientation must complement conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity.
• should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strategic influencing skills, and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation.
• Self-starter and adaptable. You’re energized and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of databases and proficiency in writing SQL in systems like Hive, Snowflake and Presto.
• Strong skills in BI tools and Excel. Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus

Good to Have

• Skilled in using data mugging data issues with Spark/PySpark aborate effectively within a cross-functional, matrix environment.
