As a senior SQL Server database admin on the Enterprise DBA team, you’ll be responsible for assisting developers and other technical teams with large IT systems database solutions by analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining Relational Database Management Systems, environments, and related infrastructure. SQL Server is a core technology which is essential to the performance and availability of our critical business applications across all platforms. You’ll perform database capacity analysis, monitoring and short and long-term capacity planning activities for database systems and applications. You’ll also create and maintain database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers and maintenance jobs.
In this role, you’ll research technical problems and recommend solutions. You’ll make recommendations for new guidelines, processes and procedures to improve customer service and also create and maintain documentation.
This is a remote position for US based work only. This position will require on-call hours. Must-have qualificationsBachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.
g. , Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering) and a minimum four years of related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS. In lieu of degree, a minimum of six years related work experience with database application development, database administration, and/or operating system administration with RDBMS may be accepted.
