CompensationThe anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $85,300. 00 to $142,200. 00.

” Position DetailsGrainger’s inventory planning team manages over 10 million SKU’s and $1 billion in inventory across 500 DC’s and branches in North America. The Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst is responsible for creating cost-savings or service improving inventory solutions that leverage statistics or operations research. These analytics-based solutions would be used to improve how Grainger decides where, when and how much inventory should be placed that aligns with strategic goals and keeping customers happy.

You Will Use operations research, statistical methods, mathematical models and tools to understand, predict and improve inventory processes. Contribute the building and deployment of durable processes and models. Participate/lead discussions with representatives to adapt the planning system to accommodate business unit needs.

Articulate the cost and service impacts of strategic initiatives/projects to get buy-in. Apply knowledge and business judgment to identify opportunities and quantify impact. Present clear and concise results.
