We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer to support our medical imaging team. In this role, you would apply computer vision to medical problems and contribute to the navigation and imaging of an image-guided medical robotic system for lung intervention. As a team of algorithm engineers with varying specialties, you would be primarily focused on image and video processing, geometric computer vision, and sensor fusion.
A Day In The Life Of Our Senior Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer:
- Work with users and a well-established team to understand clinical needs and invent innovative image-guided intervention solutions
- Research, prototype, and iterate algorithmic solutions to medical computer vision problems to establish industry leadership
- Contribute high-quality software to create medical products that are safe and effective
- Perform engineering evaluation, support clinical testing and draft technical/regulatory documentation
About You:
- MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics or other related programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with geometric computer vision
- Extensive hands-on algorithm development experience in image and video processing, geometric computer vision (camera calibration, pose estimation, structure from motion), and sensor fusion
- Solid foundation in mathematics and analytical skills
- Strong object-oriented software development skills using C++ and experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python)
- Experience in machine learning / deep learning, x-ray imaging, medical image reconstruction, or image-guided intervention systems is highly preferred
- Industry experience in commercializing relevant algorithms is preferred
- Experience with visualization and 3D rendering is preferred
- A passion to applying cutting-edge technologies to solve medical problems
- Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills

Pay Transparency
The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package.
California Pay Range$150,000—$195,500 USD
Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
