JOB TITLE: Senior Business Intelligence Systems Analyst (OneStream)

 

JOB SUMMARY

This position will develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple departments within the Finance function while delivering high quality BI system solutions to our internal customers. This role requires both tight team collaboration and the ability to work on project components independently.  Responsible for providing high-level, as well as detailed, quantitative, and qualitative analytical system support and consulting to the finance organization, leveraging the various financial system applications and data sets. In the role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functionality of our Planning & Consolidation systems and the integration with our systems – SAP, Azure DataLake, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, OneStream etc. This role will proactively support critical business strategies by overseeing the maintenance and enhancements of the systems in collaboration with Finance team leaders.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manage data integrations into Planning,Consolidation and reporting systems from SAP, Azure DataLake, and other source systems as appropriate, serve as a primary point of contact for business and IT teams
  • Works independently planning and scheduling activities
  • Recommends and implements modifications to existing policies & procedures
  • Provide project leadership for systems enhancements projects
  • Monitor deployment of additional Planning & Consolidation system functionality/upgrades release, completing and coordinating testing and communication to key stakeholders
  • Manage business rules impacting calculations, allocations, and data repositories for the purpose of facilitating the Company’s annual budgeting, forecasting and actual reporting
  • Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations to meet evolving business and operational needs
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end user processes
  • Document and roll out training on reporting and dashboards to customer base
  • Troubleshoot intermittent data and/or break/fix issues
  • Maintain system security, user permissions
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration
  • Manage design and support of data visualization and reports
  • Implement data visualizations, dashboarding, and reporting solutions that will drive meaningful insights and business decisions for customers
  • Create a user friendly reporting and analytics environment so users have rapid access to necessary data, analytics and reports
  • Analyzes complex problems and implements solutions to ensure consistency and accuracy of the financial systems
  • Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals
  • Build ad hoc analysis to support user needs and requests
  • Coaches and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members and customers
  • Act as back-up across our key financial systems tasks to ensure business continuity

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ of relevant financial analytics, FP&A, accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience supporting, developing and/or administering a modern cloud based financial consolidation, planning or reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, OneStream, etc.).
  • Experience implementing modern cloud based financial software solutions a strong plus
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, OneStream and/or PBI reporting a strong plus
  • Experience using MS tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPivot, Desktop PowerBI, etc.  SQL
  • Experience working in an international organization with multiple currencies and multiple manufacturing entities preferred
  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.) with exposure to master data maintenance best practices
  • Data testing and validation of systems and processes

Skills

  • Self-directed individual with strong motivation and willingness to take initiative.  Should work independently but accept constructive supervision
  • Ability to build and develop effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Dashboard, analytics and enterprise reporting development skills with a keen eye for design and data organization
  • Data analysis skills, using MS tools such as Excel, Desktop Power BI, etc.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Dashboard development with a keen eye for design and data organization
  • Ability to interact with customers, gathering requirements and turning them into meaningful reports
  • Ability to train and communicate to customers and internal users on reports and dashboard product offerings
  • An analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of associates and management
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting standards and practices 
  • Ability to lead small projects utilizing basic Project Management fundamentals

Target Pay Range:  $110,400.00 to $138,000.00  –  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
