Summary: As a Data Analyst for the Data/Reporting team at Onbe, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all functional requirements are accurately captured, documented, and communicated to technical stakeholders.
This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Dallas, TX location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position. #LI-Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions to understand the functionalities, processes, and data flows of existing legacy systems.
- Document and map out the intricate web of existing systems, identifying key data sources, dependencies, and potential challenges in consolidating these systems.
- Work closely with Snowflake data modelers, Power BI developers, and project managers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project’s goals and requirements.
- Develop detailed project documentation, including requirements documents, process maps, and user stories, to support the development of a unified platform.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project goals and requirements.
- Employ standard methodologies in business analysis to recommend solutions that meet the project’s objectives while considering constraints such as budget and timelines.
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance phases to ensure that the unified platform meets the documented requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and documentation updates throughout the lifecycle of the Future State project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a track record of successful discovery and documentation in BI/Reporting projects.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and document complex legacy systems and processes.
- Good communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in projects involving the consolidation of disparate systems into a unified reporting and analytics platform is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and tools, as well as an understanding of the implications of data consolidation on reporting and analytics.
- Agile project management experience, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- PMP certification is nice to have.
The base salary range for this position is between $86,220.00 to $100,000.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
