Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a Data Engineering team to design and execute complex data pipelines in Google Cloud.
  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of the business requirements.
  • Participate in daily meetings and training sessions
  • High proficiency level in SQL – MUST
  • High proficiency level in relational databases such as Postgres – MUST
  • High proficiency level in orchestration tools such as Composer/Airflow – MUST

Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of experience.
  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Math, Statistics, Science/Data Systems Management, or equivalent background
  • Hands-on experience querying and extracting data from large databases.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Python – big advantage
  • Expert in Excel
  • Readiness to work in a high-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
  • Experience with Retail, FMCG, and shopper insights is a big advantage.
