Overview
The Senior Director, AI & ML Product will lead the development of outstanding AI/ML powered products to shape the future of SGWS by harnessing pioneering AI technologies. The Senior Director will work closely with digital product, engineers, scientists, designers, and business functions to deliver innovative and impactful AI/ML product solutions to drive business productivity and growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define strategic vision and roadmap for AI & ML products and being the evangelist for that vision across the organization.
- Collaborate with various partners in digital and business functions in capturing requirements and in crafting AI/ML infused solutions for the enterprise.
- Work with the science and engineering teams to build and deliver premier AI/ML and Gen AI-powered applications.
- Define and measure business outcomes and metrics from the deployed AI & automation solutions.
- Drive user studies, product evaluations, and collaborate with digital product teams to provide valuable feedback and help improve AI products.
- Stay at the forefront of AI and technology trends and serve as an AI leader within the organization on AI integration.
- Define high level standards, benchmarks, and organizational policies around safe and ethical use of AI.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or other equivalent quantitative fields.
- 7+ years of experience in product management with ML and AI science and engineering background.
- Experience in building AI-powered customer facing or employee facing products by working with engineers, designers, and data scientists resulting in significant business impact.
- Demonstrated hands-on product management expertise involving AI, ML, generative AI, and statistical modeling.
- Strong experience in capturing and analyzing requirements and translating them into a viable product through agile development.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, data ecosystem, ML platform and workflow.
- Experience with LLM and Gen AI models and frameworks.
- Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver results in a high-energy environment.
- Strong capability to articulate complex concepts and influence various audiences.
- Works effectively cross functional teams to build trusted partnership.
