Summary: The Services Process Transformation (SPT) team is responsible for designing, testing and implementing changes to processes, technology and organization in order to transform CDW services and drive toward its growth objectives.
The Senior Business Analyst, Services Process Transformation role works closely with business leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand current state processes, validate and quantify the value of the opportunity being assessed, develop a business case around future state recommendations and assist with the implementation of those recommendations. This role performs business and functional requirements gathering, takes part in business solution design and systems analysis.
This role also documents, measures and optimizes key business processes from end-to-end. What you will do: Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify, prioritize and validate project requirements and business objectives/goals. Derive a detailed understanding of the stated business problem and objectives and work with the stakeholder and technical team toward resolution to achieve the objectives Decompose business problems and work with the project team to determine the root cause, provide solution alternatives, and assist in change management activities Engage key stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture pain points/issues Collect data and perform data analysis to support validation of potential opportunity value Create process workflows, identification of bottlenecks and opportunities to improve the process from end-to-end Implement new or revised processes & prove out the value or effectiveness of proposed solutions Perform quantitative & qualitative analysis to help justify the investment necessary to deliver potential solutions.
Gather and prepare supporting analysis and design documentation from a business perspective Take part in system test plans and validate that business goals are accomplished Drive alignment of project objectives and solutions to organizational business strategies and objectives Serve as an internal consultant for cross-functional collaboration & knowledge sharing Maintain macro-view of key processes, application platforms and business outcomes Build credibility and trust across stakeholder groups. Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts across the organization. What we expect of you: Bachelor’s degree and 1 years total Information Technology experience OR, 5 years of experience within finance, data analytics, management consulting, business strategy, or process improvement Work experience in process definition including facilitation, process documentation, and process improvement Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders Strong understanding of financial processes & concepts of a services business Critical thinker & creative problem solver Strong analytical skills Data-driven mindset and approach History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines Critical attention to detail & ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel Master’s Degree, a plus.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, a plus. Data science, data analytics or data tools (e.
g. Power BI, etc. ) experience, a plus.
This role requires access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), as well as information subject to U. S. export-control laws such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Under these laws and applicable data security requirements in CDW’s U. S. government contracts, CDW must assess whether individuals in this role are legally permitted to access export-controlled technical data and certain categories of CUI.
