About the Team

Workforce ML team charter is to “Enable the Future of Work with AI and ML”. We believe if you do what you love, you’ll love what you do. There’s a lot to love at Workday. You will be part of a global, high-growth product team to develop the next generation of smart applications used by over 60 million users, representing about ~450 billion transactions a year. You will solve complex business and user interaction problems by leveraging ML. We operate and function like a startup with a high degree of autonomy and strong sense of total ownership.

About the Role

Must be eager to learn Python and build Flask applications.

Work with PM and ML Eng to help them identify product usage research, generate reports.

Architect and implement integration layer between ML Services and Workday internal environments.

Build data pipelines and manage related CICD.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in building production Python or Java application

  • 3+ years of experience as a software development engineer delivering scalable web applications or SaaS solutions

  • Experience with design patterns, class modeling, and UML technology.

  • Experience with design and development of REST web application 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar relevant degree

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience in building large scale enterprise business applications (in the area of HCM/ERP is preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of design and analysis of software for performance and scalability

  • 2+ years of experience working on Python Flask Apps

  • Experience working on analyzing and debugging performance logs is a huge plus

  • Experience with XML and integration technologies is a plus

  • Experience writing complex queries in databases like MySQL, NoSQL

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD – $222,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD – $248,400 USD
