What you’ll do:

  • Build novel AI-native workflows end-to-end, finding the balance between state-of-the-art and pragmatism.

  • Deeply understand customer needs and identify product improvements, evaluating and improving our systems over time.

  • Work with a variety of large, unstructured data sources to develop our products.

  • Identify new opportunities for AI solutions based on client needs, and set the direction and roadmap required to implement them.

  • Design and implement analytics-driven evaluation systems that enable product growth.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in an AI / ML role.

  • Are excited about redefining knowledge work through an AI-native lens.

  • Are self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.

  • Communicate both low-level technical details and high-level strategic plans effectively.

  • Have experience driving long-term, ambiguous research projects to completion – ideally with significant practical impact.

  • Maintain a high personal velocity and move with urgency and agency.

  • Have excellent quantitative intuition and problem solving skills.

Axion is based in New York, New York with a headquarters in Williamsburg and the team works in a hybrid capacity. This role is expected to work in the office at least 3 days weekly.
