Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate data flow across systems.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help teams make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data quality checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Work with databases, data warehouses, and other data sources to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
  • Optimize data queries and improve performance of BI tools.
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines, ensuring timely data delivery to end-users.
  • Stay current with the latest BI and data engineering trends and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field
  • 8+ years of experience working in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data engineering solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data modelling.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies, data engineering, or related fields is a plus.
  • Good understanding of agile processes, able to handle ambiguity, data oriented decision making
  • Keep track of the latest industry trends and best practices
  • Keep attention to detail and solution oriented mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
