Staff VP CSBD Segment/Product ManagementLocation: May be located in any Elevance Health PulsePoint office preferably in Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, Mason, OH, Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, Chicago, IL, New York, NY or Woodland Hills, CA. This role requires associates to be in-office at least 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

SummaryThe Staff VP Commercial Health Benefits Segment/Product Management is responsible for driving business segment growth and strategy, managing employer solutions, and working closely with market leaders to identify and explore new product opportunities across all geographies and segments. The role entails comprehensive ownership of the Employer Solutions portfolio, focusing on strategic initiatives and a range of solutions designed to retain and grow business.

Primary duties:Evaluate market opportunities and devise growth strategies aligned with long-range business plans. Conduct analyses to optimize product performance across markets and improve membership and operating gains.

Serve as the primary customer interface for product-related initiatives, ensuring strategic growth plans are developed and executed in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Position ResponsibilitiesOversee the Local Market Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance local group business through strategic initiatives. Lead the development and distribution strategies for Wellbeing, Rewards & Engagement Solutions, increasing market share.

Guide National Solutions focusing on whole-person health and integrated solutions, including Advocacy and National Accounts, to expand commercial business. Foster Carelon partnerships to promote growth in Carelon Health, Medical Benefits Management, and other Carelon services. Simplify and expand Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), ensuring a consistent national approach with local expertise.

Develop and implement product and business strategies, enhancing financial and quality performance. Cultivate strategic relationships with customers, brokers, and consultants to drive growth and align solutions to market needs.

Attend client meetings and external engagements to speak about product strategy, product roadmap, and conduct deep dives on products within our portfolio, as neededLead market analysis with Account Management to inform strategic recommendations and ensure product alignment with organizational goals. Ensure consistency of product positioning with organizational messaging and optimize ongoing program enrollments. Position RequirementsRequires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Willing and able to travel (approx. 25%). Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences8-10 years of management experience.

Proven experience in designing and executing commercial benefits strategies across multiple segments. Track record of achieving top-line growth through tailored product and marketing strategies. Strong ability to navigate a matrixed organization.

Proven capability in delivering on margin commitments and prioritizing tasks. Exceptional product management, people development, and organizational skills. Effective collaboration with a range of internal and external partners.
