Job Description
In Supply Chain, Delivery Solutions manage all of ASOS’ 75 million outbound and returns parcel deliveries a year. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of the team delivering insight and data to the wider Delivery Solutions team. You should be passionate about using data to tell visual stories, using complex datasets to deliver clear messages and understating the impact of the detail. You don’t have to have worked in a supply chain before, but should be experienced in data analysis.
What You’ll be Doing
- Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Proactive identification of trends and clear communication of these to the Delivery Solutions Managers.
- Developing and maintaining reports to visualize and communicate key delivery metrics to stakeholders.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitoring and evaluating carrier performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing strategies for enhancements.
- Production of reliable carrier and warehouse forecasts.
- Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies
Qualifications
Who We’d Like to Meet
This is a technical role where you’ll need to be able to hit the ground running, you’ll need experience with business intelligence software (ASOS use Power BI), proficiency writing SQL queries to manipulate large datasets and be strongly proficient in Excel, ideally with VBA. You will be a core part of the Supply Chain team, and feeding the operational managers with insights and data, so you’ll need to have a collaborative mindset and be comfortable in a dynamic and changeable work environment. Part of the role will also be chipping in to support implementations or supporting over peak, so being a team player is key!
