Surest is actively seeking a driven and skilled Performance Analytics Reporting Senior Analyst to build and communicate Surest performance results across internal and external stakeholders. Performance results encompass healthcare utilization, cost, clinical, and health plan operational indicators that help drive decision making for Surest clients and internal business partners. The role requires a breadth of skillsets found in functional areas such as client management, sales and marketing, strategy, quantitative analytics or health plan operations. A successful candidate is someone who can partner with and lead team members as well as cross-functional stakeholders to strategically craft a compelling value-story and deliver meaningful recommendations rooted in data and performance results. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely\* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze, synthesize, and deliver a compelling message to internal and external clients around healthcare utilization and financial performance results
Serve as a trusted advisor and a dedicated analytic consultant to client management teams, supporting ad-hoc and regular reporting requests on Surest product, healthcare cost, and healthcare quality topics
Contribute to and evolve the Surest product value-story, leveraging performance data to drive recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Support cross-functional teams as an analytic subject matter expert to bring creative insights around product performance, including RFP and finalist meetings / presentations, marketing, sales, and executive audiences
Develop understanding of analytic processes and data foundation supporting performance analytic measurement
Participate in and contribute to initiatives that broaden and expand the scope and capabilities of performance measurement (ex. Integration efforts)

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with data analysis, interpretation, synthesis and development and delivery of a compelling value-story to downstream stakeholders
Prior client-management or client-facing experience
Demonstrated experience presenting findings to clients and senior leaders
Advanced knowledge of the healthcare industry, prior health plan experience preferred
Experience in statistical and data visualization tools (Excel / Tableau / Looker / Power BI)
Solid communication skills (verbal and written), including an executive presence
Ability to negotiate and think critically, creatively, and strategically; a demonstrated natural problem-solver
A savvy navigator of matrixed organizations, approaching situations sensitively and as a relationship-builder
Willing and able to travel 25% +/- depending on business need

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
