Our team is looking for you, an experienced Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) professional with technical and program management skills to provide guidance and support to senior level government directors for ground enterprise solutions in the IC and DoD.

This program provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an IC customer with a focus on acquisition and operations of a complex mission system and supporting IT infrastructure. The contract support is part of the customer core team focused on all aspects of the systems life cycle including CONOPS development, capturing requirements, working with developers to deliver capability, testing to ensure capabilities meet requirements, transition to operations and operations support. The program also supports innovations/technology development, provides acquisition and project management support to government program managers and IT information assurance security support.
The selected candidate will have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various ground offices. The candidate will have daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors and will need to follow customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle. Candidate will interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Works with the Government program leads for ideation and execution of AI/ML or Deep Learning (DL) solutions to meet mission needs
  • Advise senior Government leads on the opportunities and limitations of various AI/ML capabilities
  • Provide recommendations for technical approaches and architectural designs with associated tradeoffs for different user needs
  • Assist in the validation and assessment of models currently in production
  • Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements and work directly with our developers and users in operations
  • Ability to assist in preparation of presentations and reports
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies
  • Identify risks and opportunities of various technical approaches to solve a mission need
  • Candidate will be required to sign and adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreement(s) and (2) Confidential Agreement and Conflict of Interest Certification

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Requires a technical degree: 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD
  • Must Possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Intelligence Community experience and work history
  • Expert understanding of the opportunities and limitations of various AI/ML capabilities and model types
  • Experience with all aspects of the AI/ML pipeline, including data preparation and processing, feature generation, training and validation, deployment to production and performance monitoring
  • Apply Agile principles to management of a government/contractor software development team working disparate projects
  • Expected to create/brief packages which include technical requirements, implementation plan, risks and success criteria
  • Excellent communication skills, multi-task and lead several projects simultaneously
