Talent Operations is responsible for providing both strategic guidance and tactical support in the administration and support of policies, procedures, and systems, in support of the NRG Talent & Culture vision. Members of the organization will act primarily as internal consultants who are responsible for representing the business in terms of the following activities: understanding and communicating business requirements, assuring policies and procedures are followed, and systems are being used in accordance with the rules and structures as designed. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Analytics Analyst to join our dynamic Talent & Culture team. In this role, you will leverage data analysis and statistical techniques to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance our workforce initiatives. You will work closely with Talent & Culture and business leaders to identify trends, improve employee experiences, and optimize talent management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret talent data from various sources, including employee surveys, performance metrics, and turnover statistics.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key talent metrics, including recruitment, retention, diversity, talent operations and employee engagement.
  • Trend Identification: Identify patterns and trends in talent data to inform strategic initiatives and support business goals.
  • Predictive Modeling: Utilize statistical techniques and predictive analytics to forecast workforce trends and inform talent strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Talent & Culture teams to design and implement data-driven programs that enhance employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Presentation: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent analytics and HR technology to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in talent analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
