Within the new Digital Payload Centre of Competence of Space Systems Engineering organization, we are currently seeking a Technical Data Manager to join our dynamic team.
The technical data manager is responsible for the data to support end to end usability via Digital Design Manufacturing and Services (DDMS) for equipment which will be launched into space within Airbus’ telecommunication satellites.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge space projects, collaborate with a diverse team of experts, and contribute to the advancement of satellite products.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

Data ownership within an engineering database for the Telecoms Payload equipment; including active and passive equipment such as low noise amplifiers, frequency converters, Travelling Wave Tubes (TWTs), Filters and passive equipment

Responsibility for the data to support end to end usability via state of the art tools; Digital Design Manufacturing and Services (DDMS)

Ensure legal compliance through the management of export classifications for intangible transfer of data (training provided)
ABOUT YOU
-
Data governance experience; e.g. configuration control, export control
-
Database Management System development and administration experience, including SQL, EMF Query2 or other Query language
-
Working knowledge of Java and Jira.
