Overview

The role of the Analytical Change Expert is to analyse and define the Business requirements, translate them into business processes and liaise with Information Technology (IT) for the technical implementation. In order to fulfil this role, the professional has to cover both, a detailed understanding of the Business content and the reporting requirements as well as their conceptual and technical representation in the data warehouse and the modelling within the corresponding technical reporting and calculation frameworks. On the one side he/she will deal with various business, risk and reporting specialists to cover and analyse their requirements and on the other side with the IT department to specify these requirements and to ensure that they are technically integrated and implemented correctly.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse, document and define the Business requirements, translate them into business processes and liaise with IT for the technical implementation

  • Perform Functional/Data Map and Global Assurance Program (GAP) on new requirements against reporting system functionality and data models

  • Root Cause Analysis of User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Production System/Data Issues for the purpose of defining requirements (system or process changes) to fix the issues

  • Data Integration Impact analysis on reporting systems

  • Drive data requirements for Agile Planning

Skills You’ll Need

  • Data Analytics (High Volume & Content Driven) using Oracle Structured Query Language (SQL), AXIOM, Python Excel, BI Tools

  • In depth knowledge of the US Regulatory Reporting Space (Y9C, 041, Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR), Fr 2590, Treasury International Capital (TIC) Reporting)

  • Definition and Documentation of Business Requirements

  • Conceptual Design/Data Modelling and Customisation of Warehouse Components, Presentation & documentation skills

  • Investment Banking Product Knowledge

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics with core area in Controlling or other profession with business and information technology skills

  • Significant work experience in Risk Control / Accounting Related Work

  • Relationship Management Skills

  • High commitment and excellent team player

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
