This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

EDUCATION
• Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
• Undergraduate Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Data quality or data analysis experience required
• Experience in the banking or finance institutions preferred
• Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
• Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection
• Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
• Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Well versed in MS Office products
• Proficient in Tableau, SQL
• Familiarity with tools like: Alteryx, Collibra
• Power BI and/or Informatica IDQ a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze business intelligence data and provide relevant cost and quality reports.
• Provide senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.
• Plan and conduct data warehouse system tests, monitor test results and take corrective actions, when necessary.
• Oversee the integrity and maintenance of organizational data.
• Performing data warehouse functions such as backup and recovery, database consistency checking and loading and unloading data.
• Monitor and review major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated, and met.
• Administer metadata management by selecting appropriate end-user tools and interfaces to ensure the quality and integrity of ware-housed data and the effectiveness of data system.
• Review and recommend policies and procedures for collecting and managing organization data.
• Develop control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
• Maintain the data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to our policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture
• Perform data integrity gap analysis to ensure controls over applications are in place
• Ensure that data-related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
• Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and technology
• Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries, and provide reports as directed

The typical base for this role is between $ 120,000  – $ 150,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
