AMB Sports & Entertainment is part of the Blank Family of Businesses comprised of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United FC, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and AMBSE Ventures.
Primary Job Duties:
  • Lead the overall fan data strategy for critical AMBSE lines of business which includes creating and executing a comprehensive data approach that drives revenue, enhances fan engagement, and improves the fan experience.
  • Partner with relevant departments and executives to define KPIs for critical AMBSE lines of business, with a primary focus on Ticketing Sales and Service, Fan Experience, and Marketing.
  • Provide ongoing recommendations to the Ticket Sales leadership team on how best to leverage our CRM to execute their strategic vision.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition, customer engagement, Season Ticket Member retention, and revenue growth.
  • Leverage data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends, and use this information to inform strategic marketing and business decisions.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage CRM systems and tools that support data collection, analysis, segmentation, and personalization efforts.
  • Deliver innovative solutions and optimize decision-making that utilizes statistical modeling, machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics.
  • In partnership with AMBSE’s Chief Technology Officer and AMBSE’s Director of Enterprise Data, develop innovative short and long-term strategies, and support execution efforts to improve the integrity and availability of data that drive aligned-upon business outcomes.
  • Proactively participate in the process of evaluating, communicating, testing, resolving issues and deploying platform upgrades/releases as needed.
  • In partnership with Data Operations, nurture relationships with NFL and MLS data teams to ensure the adoption of best practices in data collection, data management, and customer outreach.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on all date-fueled sales and marketing initiatives, performance, and outcomes.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in Data and/or Analytics with 5-7+ years of experience in using data-driven insights to drive revenue in a strategic capacity
  • Hands-on data experience with Event Ticketing tools (Ticketmaster) and CRM Systems (Microsoft Dynamics & KORE)
  • Experience with Epsilon or similar marketing tools.
  • Experience in developing and managing modern analytics workflows, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards, all with a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, consultants, and vendors.
  • Experience with data or privacy-related experience, including implementation, monitoring, and compliance with privacy, data protection, and data governance policies and procedures for one or more business units.
  • Excellent business communication skills: ability to provide instruction to audiences of varying technical abilities.
  • Proficiency with Excel (complex spreadsheet models, run pivots, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI).
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to improve.
