Position: Senior AI Engineer With Python Location:Albany, NY (Onsite/Remote) Experience: 10+ Years Work type: C2C only Visa Type: H1-B, GC and US Citizen Job Summary PETADATA is seeking a highly experienced AI Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, develop, and deploy advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across the AI lifecycle—from data engineering and model development to production deployment and optimization at scale. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using Python for real-world business problems
  • Architect end-to-end AI solutions including data pipelines, model training, evaluation, and deployment
  • Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
  • Develop and optimize deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and predictive models
  • Build scalable AI systems using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams
  • Implement MLOps practices including CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, and retraining
  • Ensure model performance, scalability, security, and compliance
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Stay updated with the latest AI research, tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with strong focus on AI/ML
  • Expert-level Python programming
  • Strong experience with Machine Learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn
  • Solid understanding of: Machine Learning algorithms Deep Learning architectures NLP and/or Computer Vision
  • Experience with data processing frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, Spark)
  • Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and model serving
  • Proficiency in cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
